Dancing with the leaves
A Story of Colors, Lines, and Imagination
I have always been fascinated by autumn — that fleeting moment when nature writes poetry with color. I see the ground covered in gold, red, green, and yellow leaves, all dancing together in a perfect choreography of change. I find myself lost in their rhythm, as if each leaf holds a story waiting to be read.
When I walk among them, I imagine their patterns as verses scattered across the earth. The wind turns the pages, and suddenly the forest is alive — whispering, swirling, carrying me into a world of imagination. I see stories forming, fading, and reborn again in the dance of colors.
This collection was born from that feeling — from the quiet wonder and surrender I feel when autumn speaks. As I got immersed in the poem behind the work, my calligraphy lines began to move like those leaves — flowing, drifting, creating shapes that breathe between words and dreams. Each stroke became a leaf; each word, a story carried by the wind.
Through these pieces, I invite you to see what I see — to feel the calm and chaos of color, the dance between form and meaning, and the stories that exist just beyond the boundaries of language. I hope you can lose yourself, as I do, in that endless autumn where words become leaves and imagination becomes the air that moves them.
In this artwork the Flowing calligraphy winds like a path between night and day — a passage from darkness into light, from reality into dream. The gradient of deep midnight rising to luminous blue evokes that fragile threshold where longing transforms into hope.
Vibrant hues of gold, turquoise, crimson, and pink mirror the poem’s wish “to paint the world with beauty and goodness.” Each color breathes with emotion: gold for purity, turquoise for serenity, red for love, pink for tender joy. Together they weave a vision of a gentle utopia — two souls, two wooden chairs, and a shared world born of kindness and imagination.
The artwork captures the spirit of Roya: a dream of simplicity amid chaos, of peace and beauty rediscovered under an ever-changing sky — a timeless journey toward the dawn within.
This work is an artistic calligraphic interpretation of “The Horse” by Imru’ al-Qais, reimagined through a contemporary visual language.
Transforming a classical poem into a vivid visual experience, the composition captures the horse as both a symbol of القوة (power) and grace through dynamic, flowing calligraphy. At first glance, the painting unfolds as an energetic abstraction—bold strokes of red, blue, and gold intertwine, evoking movement and vitality.
On closer viewing, hidden forms begin to emerge: a horse and a girl in a quiet embrace. This subtle imagery introduces a layer of tenderness and human connection beneath the poem’s intensity.
Balancing strength with intimacy and chaos with harmony, the work reflects the dual nature of the horse—not only as a force of speed and nobility, but also as a companion capable of trust and affection.
