Inside My Journey

My artistic philosophy

In my artistic philosophy , what I’m passionate about is the fusion of two fundamental modes of expression—writing and painting. Writing is a deliberate act of transmission, a conduit for the author’s thoughts, crafted to be understood. Painting, by contrast, invites the viewer into a space of ambiguity , of emotion and interpretation, where meaning is not given, but felt.
In my painting style I seek to inhabit the liminal space between these two worlds. It is a gesture of thought made visible—where the written form retains its intimacy and intentionality , yet opens itself to the fluid, evocative qualities of visual art. My calligraphic painting is not about giving meaning, nor withholding it, but about offering a moment in which my thoughts and the viewer’s imagination can meet, overlap, and resonate.

It is an art of presence: where the line of a letter becomes a brushstroke, and a brushstroke becomes a suggestion, a silence, a rhythm. It is the simultaneous expression and invitation—anchored in intention, yet liberated in interpretation.

As Paul Klee once said, “Drawing is the art of taking a line for a walk.” In my case, writing takes the line by the hand and leads it into a space where language and image are no longer separate—but dance together, co-creating meaning in the moment they are seen.

About me

This vision is rooted deeply in who I am. Born in a Persian family immersed in the art of Persian handmade carpets—a world woven with stories, colors, lines, and sacred patterns. My childhood was shaped by the rhythm of motifs, the elegance of arabesques, and the symbolic language of flowers and geometry. These visual codes were more than decoration—they were the silent poetry of a culture, passed down through hands and threads.
Today, I continue that tradition—transformed—on canvas. My calligraphic paintings are an echo of those layers of color, rhythm, and line, merging the precision of writing with the organic flow of painting. I use unconventional scripts and abstract forms to express not only my thoughts, but my origins. The strokes are not meant to be read in the conventional sense—they are meant to be felt, like a whisper from the past speaking in a new tongue.
