My work explores the space between writing and painting
Through calligraphic painting, I create gestures of thought made visible—where letters become brushstrokes, and meaning is not fixed but felt. My work does not seek to define or obscure meaning, but to offer a moment where my inner world meets the viewer’s imagination.
This approach is deeply rooted in my heritage. Growing up in a Persian family immersed in the art of handmade carpets, I was surrounded by intricate patterns, symbolic forms, and visual storytelling. Today, I carry that legacy onto canvas—blending the precision of writing with the organic flow of painting.
Using abstract scripts and expressive lines, my work echoes these traditions while reinterpreting them in a contemporary language—inviting the viewer to experience not just what is written, but what is sensed.
